Network Administrator (WAN-IPSec (Anira) Experienced
Summary: Determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks, supporting the 3 corporate campuses in Atlanta. Additional scope of responsibilities includes network monitoring and reporting across the hotels in Americas region.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field required
- 8-10 years experience required
Skills and Competencies:
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage
- Expert knowledge of various network protocols, and experience/ability to troubleshoot and respond to advanced level trouble tickets
- Expert knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and Internet directory services software
- Experience in Cisco (Required)
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP (Preferred but not Required)
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Servers 2012, Active Directory (Required)
- Experience in Firewalls, IPSec, Certification Authority (Preferred)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and make recommendations to adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
- Administration and configuration of environment of Cisco environment. Monitoring and configuring LAN/WAN for the Atlanta Corporate campuses
Using WAN-IP Sec (Anira)
Monitoring and running analytics on LAN/WAN usage across the hotels in AMERICAS (but not responsible for set-up or maintaining in the hotels)
- Supervise network operations, assist with maintenance, repairs or upgrades
- Review and approve equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, Servers, or server operation systems
- Work with Engineers to review and approve solutions for network problems
- Develop procedures to track, project or report network availability, reliability, capacity or utilization
- Develop or recommend network security measures, such as Firewalls, network security audits, or automated security probes
- Perform other duties as assigned
