Description
FINXL require several experienced Network Engineers who has a specific focus on Nexus Cisco Switches & Routers and F5 Load balancers, Checkpoint or ASA Firewalls. These are contract opportunities to join a team working across a wide variety of technical environments and industry sectors.The Network Engineers will have specific skills within a large enterprise network infrastructure environments, receiving technical requirements from business and designing solutions and participation in implementing network services.
Technical requirements:
Experience Cisco Routers, Switches.
5+ year's previous experience in network design, implementation and operations. Provide input into architecture and service road maps.
Working knowledge of F5 Load balancing (LTM and GTM).
Strong Firewall capabilities, working through configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX and Checkpoint VSX.
Experience with MPLS/Nexus networks.
Experience working within a strong process driven enterprise environment.
Strong protocol experience including BGP, OSPF.
CCNP, Cisco ISE highly desirable.
Duties:
Maintain a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN/Wireless networks.
Configure and setup Cisco Routers and Switches, Checkpoint Firewalls and Security appliances for access to vital business applications.
Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance and monitoring with both private and public facilities.
Design, setup, configure, and maintain complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
Working with project teams to ensure solution designs are formulated in alignment with architecture standards and meet business requirements.
Analyse current service usage within your business or service domains to determine deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Perform root cause analysis and solve complex problems.
CCIE certified would be Highly Desirable.
