Description
I am currently recruiting for a Junior Copywriter to join a large banking organisation located in Canary Wharf. This will initially be a 3 month contract at a daily rate of £150.
Role Profile
This role will require a junior copywriter to work with more senior members of the team. The work will be shorter form, functional copy for AB testing and the customer journey through online banking. There will be advert style test and target measurement copy as well as proof reading and a fair amount of subbing.
The work will mostly be BAU work rather than heavy financial content copy or new propositions and will give the opportunity to work within a developing copy team on a variety of projects.
Required Skills and Competencies
Essential:
- Previous copywriting experience
- Strong subbing experience
- Must have done proofreading in the past
- Ability to work on functional copy
- Enthusiastic team player
- Detail-oriented individual
- Interest in the Digital side of copy
Desirable:
- Broad experience of delivering content outputs and creative delivery for other organisations
- Experience of working in a larger team
- Experience with apps and websites and the customer journey
- Flair for the creative
Additional Information
- Face to face interview in Canary Wharf - there will be a short 15-20 minute copy test.
- Start date ideally 2nd January - there is a Christmas furlough (leave) from 11th December 2017 until 1st January 2018 inclusive.
