Description

A new 12 month contract opportunity is currently being offered for a Technical Writer to join our Client, a well-recognised and Leading Global Organisation based in Brisbane CBD.

The Technical Writer will be required to provide services with a focus on Content management, including reports, automation catalogue, workshop minutes and summaries. Additionally you will be required to provide experience around Creation of Intranet content (SharePoint based),

Further to this, the Technical Writer will be required to undertake the following key responsibilities;

  • Apply technical writing expertise to content produced and review automation project documents and organise in content management system
  • Create an annual report for automation work
  • Reports and minutes for workshops and significant meetings
  • Create web content for Intranet pages
  • Create content in multiple formats; presentations, reports, meeting minutes, worksheets.
  • Translate complicated ideas and project through the use of diagrams and understandable language.
  • Content/Document management
  • Organise and Manage document storage using SharePoint Workspaces
  • Maintain content management system
  • Act as a contact point for internal and external stakeholders to share content.
  • Create and Manage Intranet content (SharePoint 2016)
  • Create internal Intranet site to communicate team news, operating model, and content
  • Work with internal stakeholders, such as Intranet content owners, to create the pages
  • Create an Automation Catalogue to share past, current and future automation projects.
  • Create and maintain automation catalogue content.
  • Work with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to gather content.

To be carefully considered for this role, you will require the following key experience to deem suitable;

  • Experience in technical writing and proven communication skills required
  • Document management/control experience required
  • Office 365 skills required
  • Experience in building and maintaining SharePoint 2016 sites advantageous
  • Design basics (diagrams, brand content) advantageous.
  • Understand how to create and manage SharePoint 2016 pages
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and internal and external stakeholders.
