Proteus Europe is searching for a French and English speaking System and Network Support Agent ( IT Integration Support ) for a 120 day + extensions contract role based in Rixensart, Belgium; within the Pharmaceutical Sector.Our Client :-
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.
Your New role :-
While achieving as local coordinator of IT-laboratory in setting up a systems integration, the executor of this mission will take on as well a role as IT-support of internal users.
The candidate will be charged with assisting the members of the VDD-department in their day-today use of the systems and laboratory applications.
A detailed description of the key responsibilities is provided hereinafter.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of new tools in the GSK Vaccines IT-environment according to pre-defined processes
- Technical analysis and validation of possible solutions
- Implementation of non-standard tools while nevertheless taking into account the existing regulation on the subject
- Assistance and first-line support (via phone) to the VDD-department users
- Resolving failures and breakdowns of the system and tools
- Resolving communication failures with an analytical instrument
- Technical escalation to superior hierarchical levels
- Follow-up of incidents from the beginning to the end
- Configuration and supervision of safety processes regarding lab data
- License administration
- Administration of access demand.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
Education: Degree in IT.
Knowledge
- Being familiar with the following concepts : OS, server platforms, storage, network, security, application delivery management systems, virtualization
- Knowledge in Windows 2000, XP, Vista and macintosh, windows 7
- Demonstrates comfortable level of oral and written Technical English
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
