Description
For one of our clients in Stockholm I am now looking for a Configuration Manager.You will be working on a 6 month project, where the tasks include:
- Analysing the current state (which CMDBs are used and at what level, who has access to the information, can the data be extracted)
- Scope and design (what will be included and to what level, who should have access, which suppliers are in the scope, how can the tool support this process and how much can be automated)
- Creating an implementation plan
- Writing a Configuration Management policy and define to whom it applies
- Ensuring that affected processes are connected the right way
- Configuration Management Plan: write a process description inc. RACI, define what levels of change management are needed for different attributes, define measurements and audit intervals
- Creating baseline by building a CMDB model on CI and attribute level and dependencies
- Adaption of tools
- Educating process owners and key persons
- Going live with the new system and shutting down the old one (incl. verifying that all data has been transferred)
