Your New role :-

The Salesforce Business Analyst role encompasses many aspects from analysis, requirements definition, solution design, acceptance testing, deployment and support. Individuals in these roles could be assigned to one of these aspects, to a project or projects, to support, or to a blend of these activities. The aim is to develop individuals who are proficient in the Business Analysis knowledge areas, as well as have a deep understanding of the business, the processes, the applications, and the information and data in Lubricants IT. This is a Salesforce Business Analyst role in the Global Commercial Lubricants Competence Center. Role is responsible for identifying and defining the business needs of their clients and stakeholders, and helping to determine and implement solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems. Lubricants business has a very large and diverse portfolio and will need to leverage BA skills across a wide variety of application technologies.

Business Analyst and Functional consultant for the GC Salesforce project. Over eight years GC Sales CRM experience (Salesforce and SAP CRM) coupled with deep business knowledge of the GC Sales and Marketing sales excellence processes.
From tool selection, design and deployment, experience in agile monthly deployments and delivering enhancements, Extensive experience in collaborating closely with the business, vendor and development teams to ensure we continuously improve the Sales CRM solution to maximise value delivered to the business for the IT dollars invested.
Extensive business analysis experience working proactively with business stakeholders to understand the roadmap ahead, the current and future business challenges, agree on priorities which can often change depending on business drivers.
Accountable for defining requirements, understanding system capabilities/limitations and associated costs/benefits analysis, risks, business impacts to determine optimum solution to meet business challenges and drive Sales 1st behaviours.

Collaborating with technology partners to understand how to enable technologies to deliver business value, get insight to their roadmap and where we can influence this to deliver additional benefit for Shell.

Responsible for translating the requirements into functional work products and steering the various delivery teams to ensure the quality of the delivered solution meets Shells high expectations, through definition of user stories, test cases and acceptance criteria. Provide counsel and continuous feedback to the QA teams to ensure complete and robust solution testing covering the varied and complex business conditions/scenarios, validating the solution before handing over to the business.

As gatekeeper for the agile monthly enhancement releases ensure the solutions meet business expectations with continuous improvement of the solution, proactively keeping stakeholders engaged through the process.
