Description
A Digital Database Specialist is required at a Large Public Sector Client in Newcastle for an initial 4 month contract.
* Ongoing support of existing Postgres databases used within the client .
* Providing assistance with the design and creation of new Postgres databases.
* Creation of procedures and identification/configuration of tooling to provide equivalent business continuity measures in relation to Postgres databases (backup and recovery processes, patching and upgrade processes, performance and availability monitoring etc)
* Providing knowledge transfer to existing DBA staff to build internal capability
Experience:
Experienced Database Administrator (DBA)
Experienced in the use of Postgres databases and associated technologies.
This role is INSIDE IR35 and closes 08/12/17 at noon.
