Assistant Finance Manager
We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager to work for a top financial services business based in London. This is an excellent hands on opportunity to support the business partnering process with data manipulation and financial analysis over the next 6 months.
Assistant Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting, journal preparation, balance sheet controls and financial forecasting and modelling.
- Manage key activities around the month-end reporting cycle.
- Manage billing activity end to end for client services in an accurate and timely manner.
- Investigate any variances to budget and current trends, working with the Business Partner teams to produce clear and insightful commentary on the financials.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the organisation's control framework and support quarterly testing where required.
Assistant Finance Manager skills/experience:
- AAT Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
- Banking background preferred (Financial Services experience as a minimum)
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Ability to build key working relationships across all levels
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise a heavy workload
- Proven background working with various finance systems and processes
