Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a pensions analyst to work on a number of large-scale pensions data cleanse projects within the Public sector. The role will involve ensuring all pensionable contributions are paid over to the scheme fund ensuring that future pension benefits are calculated correctly.

Duties will include:

  • Looking at requirements gathered from multiple stakeholders within the business in order to establish a strategic overview and address key dependencies and risks
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the overall delivery of the programme
  • Managing a team of business analysts/data validators/Complex caseworkers
  • Analyse and provide regular updates and MI reports to the Project Manager
  • Providing responses to queries from pension scheme members and employers
  • Identifying and calculating the pension scheme deficit

Skills needed:

  • Subject matter expert on a range of Public Sector pension schemes
  • Experience of general payroll processes including the pay over of employers and employees pension contributions and associated data files
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Strong senior stakeholder management experience
  • Understanding of transactional HR activity
  • Excellent communications skills both oral and written
  • Strong team working ethic
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
