Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Technical Security Support for our client based in Antwerp, Belgium

Our client is a government body based in Antwerp

Your New role :-

Information security provides the customers, more specifically the provincial services, with a secure and functional network. The security components that make this possible include: firewall environment, antivirus, DHCP and DNS modules, authentication servers, VPN, wireless, MDM, ... For more complex, non-routine business you work together with an external party that provides the necessary support.
Within the department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) you end up in the Operations and Services (DOS) department. Here you contribute to support the user of the provincial ICT system through the delivery, monitoring and maintenance of applications, systems, networks and services. DOS ensures the coordination of the ICT services on the organization.

A crucial aspect in this service is information security. This is to prevent safety risks, despite the increasing needs of the organization. Expansion, monitoring and maintenance of the network security infrastructure are at issue.

- Technical support of the team responsible for the security environment:
- Solving and following up on incidents
- Proactive maintenance and monitoring
- Guidance and implementation of operational changes in collaboration with internal employees and external parties
- Minimum 5 years experience in the technology involved
Technical context - Good knowledge of CheckPoint firewall
- Good knowledge of F5 (LTM / APM)
- Good knowledge of Cisco ISE
- Average knowledge of Routing and switching
- Cisco
- Alcatel (optional)
- Basic knowledge of enterprise antivirus products
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN protocols
