Linux/AIX System Administrator

We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to join the team as a Linux/AIX System Administrator on an initial 6-month daily rate contract.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Mid-level Linux/AIX administrator to work with production services team
- Opportunity to be part of a dynamic IT team in a busy working environment
Suitable candidates will ideally have
- A third level computing qualification
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Evidenced communication skills with third parties (eg in meetings with management/vendors/third parties or other teams in ETS)
- The ability to take direction and also make decisions independently
- Excellent knowledge of mail systems.
- Excellent knowledge of monitoring systems
- Expert knowledge of system and network management concepts
- Excellent knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, NTP, HTTP and routing.
