Networking Specialist

Our client, a global leader of ICT solutions is recruiting for a Networking Specialist, to join their business in Romania.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing technical support to end users of IT network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure organization wide
- Supporting routers, switches, firewalls, VPN devices and load balancers
- Assist in ensuring the prompt resolution of escalated faults and requests from the service desk
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and ensure that agreed SLAs are achieved
- Assist in setting up and maintaining network management system tools to ensure network devices are constantly monitored
- Assist in setting up and executing technical test plans for device modification, new deployment and Upgrades
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of escalated issues and resolution status (i.e. a detailed maintenance schedule)
- Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal response time
- Liaise with the service desk to ensure infrastructure related incidents are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner in compliance with Service Level Agreements
- Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required
- Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports
- IP address management
- Implementation of changes to network services
- Maintain security and data integrity
- Implement and support audit and compliance regulations as per requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry working and 3 years of experience with Network devices (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Huawei), F relevant operation experience
- Work experience with F5 load balancers
- Work experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls
- Good knowledge to work with network monitoring and configuration tools
- Experience in complex, large-scale IT system operation service delivery
- Preferably Cisco CCNP level of certification
- Familiar with ITIL key processes like incident, change, problem, capacity management
- Fluent English communication skills
- Provide a 24x7 service supervision through on call
- Availability of international travel for training and knowledge transfer of customers
