Toolmaker/surface grinder
The candidate must be fully skilled in Surface grinding, manual milling & turning. Spark erosion experience would be an advantage. The work is high precision low volume (usually 1offs), the candidate will be manufacturing hardened and ground parts for special purpose machinery as well as refurbishing and manufacturing new press tools.
The work is both varied and interesting for a highly skilled individual, the role is not suited to someone who is used to batch repeat work.
Hours are 7:30 to 4:30 Monday to Thursday, 7:30 to 11:45 on Friday = 38.25 hours Basic working week
