Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Technical API Analyst to join a prestigious client based in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 1 year, ending .Our Client :-
Our client is a company run by the Flemish government in Belgium to provide public transportation with about 3650 buses and 359 trams.
Your New role :-
We wish to offer an improved experience to customers when they come into contact with the line. We want to digitize the contacts with high volumes and define and develop the necessary apis for this.
You analyze the current back-end systems that support after-sales processes for B2C and their functionalities. You look at which APIs we define best to be able to offer the functionalities online. You also ensure that there is sufficient reusability and sufficient abstraction of the backend. You also define which APIS could be made available in an open ecosystem of multimodal transport partners via our open data platform.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- You have strong technical analytical skills and consolidate your findings in deliverables that increase support
- You have experience in API definitions and tooling such as Swagger
- You have experience in API integrations between various companies
- You have experience with REST SOAP
- You have experience in API management software
- You have experience with service repository solutions
- You have experience in security on APIs cross systems and platforms
- You have experience in Service Bus technologies
- You have experience in hybrid cloud architectures and integrations of on premise apis with cloud apis
- You have experience in gradually shaping a change process within an organization into reusable APIs within the context of limited budgets and time pressure for delivery
- You have experience in non-green field situations to make improvements.
- You can work independently or in a team
- You speak and write Dutch fluently
- You work result-oriented with a sense of responsibility
- You are sufficiently mature to take on autonomous tasks and deal with stress.
- You can deal with uncertainty and a lack of specifications and see this as an opportunity.
- You use your analytical skills to help you design the best solution for the business.
- You think in a solution-oriented way.
