French IT Release Manager

Proteus Europe is searching for a French IT Release Manager for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Your New role :-

As part of the establishment of the E.I.L team managing the coordination of Web Services (WS) within Information Systems (IS)

The following points are requested:

- Set up IS transversal release process for WS exchange (define, document, validate)

- Coordinate the management of releases and releases of the E.I.L team and transversal alignment of teams upstream and downstream of the E.IL. (prioritization, planning, quality control, communication, continuous improvement of the process)

- Plan and prioritize the developments to be carried out within the E.I.L team

- Organize and schedule releases and system maintenance (release and maintenance calendars)

- Document the alignment of systems (WS version alignment plan per layer)

- Identify risks, impacts (technical and business) and interdependencies of all requests in collaboration with the actors of a release

- Present its release plan to the release managers of each layer for authorization and alignment before each production release

- Check the existence of deliverables throughout the release (result of testing, release installation guide, risk and impact analysis, operational documentation, etc ...)

- Ensure the communication of the key moments of the release (planning, procedure, production) within the department, the IS and with the business when necessary

- Organize the - lessons-learned- meetings after each major release with recommendations for improvement

General skills

- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in the release management and in the realization of IT projects and in team coordination
- Demonstrated experience in release in a necessary ICT environment
- Practical project management experience
- Experience in Change Management and Transformation Management
- Experience in Resource Management
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (release, change, configuration, incident, problem)
- General ICT knowledge - the scope being essentially Coordination of Web Services
- Results orientation, leadership, flexibility, people skills, analytical skills, stress resistance, priority management, openness to change
-- Writing skills in French or English.
