Linux/DevOps engineer - Telecom - Freelance
For a client in Amsterdam area I am currently looking for a Linux DevOps engineer. The client is a leading organization in the telecom industry that uses innovative technologies to stay ahead of its competition.
The team where this position is available is part of the technology and innovation department that works on the Server Side components for different media & entertainment products. An example of such a product is the set-top box where live can be stream from.
The ideal candidate
- More than three years of experience with Linux distributions (Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu)
- Hands-on experience with Scripting (python, bash or Perl)
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
- Good experience of kubernetes
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience in writing playbooks with Ansible
- CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins
- Knowledge of elastic solutions (Elastic,Kibana, Logstah)
The job
- Design, setup & maintenance of the core infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD infrastructure pipeline
- Checking monitor alarms, diagnosing the symptoms, analysing the root causes and making preventive plans
