Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Microsoft Team Foundation Server Engineer to join a prestigious client based in Brussels, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months.

The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.
Your New role:-
Hiring a Microsoft Team Foundation Server Engineer for the migration of the existing Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010 environment to Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2015 under the direction of the Windows Server Team and in consultation with the involved development teams.
The position is situated in the department Digitization and Organization within the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
This department is responsible for:
- The coordination and execution of the organization and HR policy;
- The coordination and implementation of logistics policy;
- The coordination of the information policy, information management and the support of the digitization of the organization;
- The coordination of the data policy, data management;
- The coordination and implementation of the IT policy;
- The coordination and implementation of the communication policy, including the Flemish Rural Network;
- The financial management of the Flemish Paying Agency, the Flemish Agricultural Investment Fund, the financial instrument for the Flemish fisheries and aquaculture sector and the Common Agricultural Policy Fund;
- The Internal Audit.
It is for the IT-Exploitation service within the Digitization and Organization department that the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries wishes to hire a Microsoft Team Foundation Server Engineer. This IT operation department provides for the production and maintenance of the entire IT structure, both on software and hardware level.
The tasks of the Microsoft Team Foundation Server Engineer are as follows:
- Analyze the existing Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010 environment
- Installing the Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2015 environment
- Perform the upgrade
- Executing the configuration
- Follow up and resolve operational reports
- Documenting the environment
- Documenting operational procedures
- Coordination with interested parties regarding working method, communication and planning
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with management of Windows Server
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with the installation, administration and configuration of a Microsoft Team Foundation Server environment
- Good knowledge of Windows PowerShell
- Experience with at least one upgrade of a Team Foundation Server environment where the engineer was solely responsible.
- Dutch language (professional level)
