Our customer who are searching for a Technical Leader based around Big Data, Hadoop, Hortonworks, Cloudera, to join their existing teams in France.
TASKS AND CHALLENGES
Within the Analytics Product Unit, you will occupy the position of technical referent for the Big Data/Analytics solution.
The objectives will consist of:
- Ensure technically the consistency of the solution (architecture, functionalities, and compatibility with existing solutions )
- Lead the technical choices, with the help of the architecture team, taking into account customer requirements, development capabilities, design to cost constraints, HW footprint
- Formalize the design of the solution, starting from the high level architecture, down to the key requirements of the different components (platform, framework, applications)
- Define the necessary steps to reach an industrialized Big Data solution
- Define and secure the overall plan including the technical dependencies of the solution with the other Product Units
LEADERSHIP & CORE SKILLS
Leading Technical Projects in the area of Big Data/Analytics, ideally in a Telecom environment, knowing the following technologies and platforms:
. Hortonworks and/or Cloudera and/or MapR
. Hadoop, Spark, Spark Streaming, MapReduce
. Hive, Impala, Spark SQL
. ElasticSearch, Solr Cloud, Lucene.
. HBase, Cassandra
. Kerberos, Ranger, Sentry
French & English language is required
