Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP SRM analyst for a role based in Warsaw - Immediate interview!

The Logistics Analyst will be the European lead analyst supporting SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), SAP Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD). The position requires hands-on functional experience in SAP system configuration and a strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles and the Procure-To-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes. He/she will be accountable for all phases of project life cycle management within the P2P and O2C work streams, as assigned, that includes the development of business requirements; blueprint design; perform system configuration to specifications; execute QA testing and production go-live. He/she will have the necessary skills to work with cross departmental teams to develop complex requirements and lead process integration while maintaining systems integrity. Additionally, position has responsibility for timely communication with both IT Management and Business Stakeholders on ongoing projects and day-to-day support.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all project phases with responsibilities which includes:

o Blueprints: requirement analysis and process design

o Realization: configuration; unit testing; and coordination of user acceptance testing

o Go-live: data conversion; production system build and validation; and production support hand-over

o Training plan development and end user coordination

o Post Go-Live Support

Plan and manage project deliverables that include:

o Provide ongoing production support and system enhancements to SAP users worldwide for all financial accounting and/or purchasing operations which include the areas of SRM/purchasing.

This includes:

§ Coordination of development and deployment of new processes and system configuration to meet business needs.

§ Resolve simple and complex application and system problems (includes configuration) related to break fixes and enhancements.

§ Manage end user calls and trouble tickets for how-to's; issue resolution and change management requests (enhancements) for the global business community.

§ Setup and maintain configuration for base financial structures related to SAP company codes and other purchasing and sales master data

§ Evaluate and escalate business unit requests and IT decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of customers and company goals.

§ Outline potential solutions and business impacts to address change requests; prototype and demonstrate new functionality

§ SAP OSS research for application bugs

§ Enforce corporate standards and best practices in use of applications.

§ Perform global regression testing for system upgrades and changes

§ Assist in unit and integration testing for change requests; enhancements and new development.

§ Develop training materials and assist with business community training.

§ Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Serve as enterprise-wide expert in the functionality, technology, and the business processes associated with Discovery's global P2P and O2C business processes.
  • Coordination of development and deployment of new processes and system configuration to meet business needs

  • Outline potential solutions and business impacts to address change requests; prototype and demonstrate new functionality

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of SAP is a requirement
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on functional experience in SAP SRM and MM- Purchasing. Configuration experience required
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on functional experience in SAP SD. Configuration experience required
  • SAP Hana S4/SOH is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication, analytical, time management, change management, and problem solving skills

Some limited travel may be required
