Description
For our client we are looking for a Data Governance consultant
Tasks:
Design of data governance processes
Domain and concept modelling of Data landscape
Refinement of information management framework
Governance rollout on data domains
Authoring of Group Guideline and Standard Operating Procedures
Stakeholder management
Create presentations and host data topic sessions
Advice on best practice regarding data governance
Assisting in creating and analysing heat maps of on-going data initiatives
Assisting in creating and analysing heat maps of the current data scope
Setup data concept governance together with relevant business areas, based on Information management framework
Conduct AS-IS analysis of data concepts, hereby
- Identifying data maturity levels, business pain points and business drivers.
- Identify data challenges impeding strategic drivers and business outcomes
Setup data concept strategies focusing on business outcomes
Implement data governance roles and responsibilities in business areas.
Implement data governance structures (boards, communities etc.)
Adopt the information management framework to the real world experience gained from the roll out.
Hereunder:
- Adjusting domain and concept models
- Adjusting Data governance principles and descriptions
And other similar tasks.
Competencies:
Hands on experience with data governance implementation is critical for this role.
Experience in translating the value of good data into business outcomes in the life science industry
Basic project management training
Skilled in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Adequate levels in written and verbal English
Strategic and analytical
Well structured
Go-getter attitude
Proactive mind-set
Great people skills
Knowledge within life science/pharma is an advantage
