MongoDB DBA - Cambridgeshire - 3 month contract initially
My client a well known digital media organisation requires a MongoDB DBA to join the Security Programme, securing my client's databases as well as providing day to day support.
My client is looking for MongoDB for performance tuning of queries, OS & MongoDB level troubleshooting, good understanding of MongoDB replication, understanding of storage engines, efficient schema design experience working with large (approx 3TB) Mongo databases, operating system administration ie Linux (Ubuntu), MongDB installation, upgrades & patching & OpsManager experience.
Required Experience:
- Highly experienced working with MongoDB to an expert level
- Excellent experience of performance monitoring and tuning, back-up and restore strategies and replication techniques.
- Excellent experience in operational support covering upgrades, patching and general troubleshooting
- Expert in developing and delivering database good practice
