Hardware design with a strong analogue bias.
The task will involve the deployment of a systems verification rig. The majority of the rig will be based on an existing turnkey solution by a company called scapegoat. There will be a need to get breakout boxes designed/made alongside the interfaces necessary to drive the REU
Responsibilities
* Design and subcontract the manufacture of the SREU systems rig
* Design and subcontract the manufacture of breakout boxes
Experience required
* Hardware design with a strong analogue bias
* Experience in System Rig Design
* Experience of PXI/PCI systems
* Integration and commissioning of test equipment
* Ability to work with suppliers
* Knowledge of design life cycle
* Writing requirement and design documents
* Knowledge of AutoCAD
* Knowledge of design Spark
