Contract 6-12 months
$40-50/hr W2 (sorry no C2C)

Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for engineering, implementing, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting add-on software in the Windows environment in support of client's application infrastructure. These add-on software products include Web Servers, MiddleWare/Mid-tier Servers, Certificate provisioning, and Powershell automation.
The position performs and coordinates engineering and support efforts to ensure that business solutions are implemented and supported the organization's technology standards. The position also works closely with other support groups in the Technology Organization to ensure proper engineering, implementation and configuration of new technologies. The position will participate in internal initiatives with the team to improve documentation of processes, knowledge sharing and cross-training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years' experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS 2008 R2, 2012 and newer.
Experience with writing and executing PowerShell scripts in support of automation efforts
Experience with using and configuring automation tools such as Microsoft SCCM, InfoBlox IPAM, PowerShell DCM
Experience with configuration, management, and troubleshooting of IIS 7.5 and newer
Working knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSL Certificates
Knowledge of SharePoint, Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, VMware Client a plus
Knowledge of F5 and VMware NSX load balancing a plus
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including Root Cause Analysis
Follow standard processes for hardware, software and project completion
Specific knowledge of data network and computer system security and general knowledge of other IT infrastructure components
Identify, develop, validate and document work processes that increase team effectiveness
Monitor performance and identify performance improvement options
Provide second-level support to other areas, both within and out of IT
Diagnose and resolve client problems within service level time frames
Develop and maintain good client relationships
Communicate progress, problems and best practices to management, leads and team
General knowledge of information technologies (those currently used within the system and new technologies)
Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments
Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere
Professional oral and written communication skills

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineering, installation and maintenance of application infrastructure and systems.
Diagnose and resolve problems to meet service level expectations.
Follow standard processes for hardware, software and project completion, problem resolution and change management.
Provide full life cycle management for application infrastructure and systems.
Participate in departmental initiatives.
