Project/Role
Our Tier 1 Investment banking client requires a Geneos SME to join a US based Geneos Support Team. This role can be based out of either Delaware or Plano, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Production support services including on-call and weekend release responsibilities (Geneos, SharePoint)
Planning, engineering, deployment and support of monitoring and other automation and testing tools
Understand the full project life cycle and take ownership of project deliverables to ensure successful implementation and integration of application changes
Provide SharePoint administration support including, new site requests, governance over existing sites, and produce FAQ's to reduce call volume.
Develops automation opportunities to reduce manual SharePoint support responsibilities such as Application On-Boarding and Data Management.
Skills & Experience Required:
SME level knowledge in ITRS Geneos monitoring (Nagios or other monitoring tools advantageous)
Clear analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
Self-starter & ability to work in a team or autonomously when required
Ability and willingness to develop technical SME and business knowledge
Commitment and ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure & constantly changing environment
Working with project delivery teams to ensure the quality of deliverables into production.
Helping to drive continuous improvement within the team as it relates to incident, problem and change management excellence. Understanding the impact of change in a complex technical environment
Proactive capacity and resiliency planning and execution.
