Role: Digital Content Specialist/Copywriter
Location: London
Duration: 3 months initial
Start Date: ASAP
Rates: up to £300/day
My London based client is currently looking for a Copywriter for an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning, prioritising and delivering customer centric content across a range of my client's websites.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Define the role of content and content types required across each website.
  • Creation of an editorial strategy and content calendar for each website.
  • Development of customer insights to understand what content should be created.
  • Content creation - this will involve a mix of copywriting and briefing our in-house designer and digital agencies who will be creating digital assets. In addition you will be responsible for using our CMS to build and publish content on to the websites.
  • Development of a process to keep track of content, monitoring its consumption and ensuring it is kept up-to-date.
  • Ensure website pages follow brand guidelines, as well as adhere to SEO and user experience best practice.

Experience Required:

  • Content strategy experience
  • Usability and Copywriting experience
  • Search Engine Optimisation experience
  • Project Management, planning and control skills to ensure deadlines are hit
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Self directed work mindset and good organisational ability
  • Solid stakeholder and relationship management skills
