AWS Architect (Amazon AWS/Migration)

6 Month Rolling Contract
/day (DOE)
IT Architect needed with hands-on Amazon Web Services (AWS) migration project expertise. 6 month rolling contract based in Croydon. Start ASAP in Jan/Feb 2018 (subject to your notice period/availability). Must either hold current SC Security Clearance or be fully eligible to undergo the SC clearance process.
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/DUTIES...
. AWS migration project experience. Must have hands-on, technical experience on AWS architecture.
. In-depth IT Architecture experience on AWS (Amazon) infrastructure solutions, including Architected Frameworks.
. Active Directory (AD), LDAP and integration experience.
. Getting on-prem apps up working on an AWS platform.
. Providing technical leadership, advice and consultancy to internal/external development teams.
. Planning/designing infrastructure integrations that deliver to agreed requirements and user needs.
. Building technical roadmaps, looking ahead for risks/blockers and ensuring decisions align to agreed strategy.
. Enabling the re-use of patterns, tools, and components across the entire service landscape.
. Applying Agile methods to architecture, development and quality assurance (QA) practices.
. AWS certification and Terraform experience would be preferable.
. Current SC Security Cleared or be fully eligible to undergo the SC Clearance process.
