About the Client:

Our Tier 1 Investment banking client requires a Junior PMO/Delivery Consultant to join their Holland based Project Support Office. The role would suit someone who is enthusiastic, process driven, an excellent communicator and eager to learn and develop within a global bank. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a programme or portfolio office and be a self-starter who is keen to progress and work hard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring invites are issued and rooms allocated, and agendas set for Programme Governance Meetings

  • Present and explain to clients the changes that he/she needs to implement in a friendly and kind manner taking into account any needs, questions or issues of that client.

  • Distribute tokens in a correct and fast way.

  • Able to work within a team that is eager to excel and put clients first

  • Capturing and documenting actions at programme and governance meetings

  • Support the programme's financial management process, ensuring project managers are aware of key deadlines, reconciling and reporting on programme financial forecasts

  • Supporting the Change Request process in ensuring change requests and impact assessments are submitted accurately and on time.

  • Setting standards for agendas, allocating rooms and sending invitations for the Programme's workshops.

  • Timesheet tool administration, adding and removing users

  • Sharepoint tool administration, adding and removing users

  • Responding to enquiries and accommodating where possible for meeting Room requests

Essential Skills

  • Experience providing support to a PMO team, in a similar role

  • Extensive ability to use the Microsoft office suite of products to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, emails and presentations.

  • Good Excel knowledge, experience in building and using pivot tables, formulas etc.

  • Experience in managing room bookings and capturing actions

  • Experience in controlling, reconciling and reporting on programme forecasts

  • Experience in using Sharepoint would be beneficial.

  • Tenacious, dynamic and proactive in collating appropriate project information from key stakeholders including project management community and Senior management team.

  • Key team player, contributing to the PMO team's discussions and activities

  • Collaborative and approachable

  • Self-starter with a can do' attitude

  • Committed, reliable and flexible.

  • Process driven, autonomous and an organised completer/finisher

  • Must work to a high degree of accuracy with very good attention to detail

  • Dynamic personality, capable of engaging a wide audience during facilitated sessions

  • Excellent and articulate oral and written communication; must be able to adapt the style for varied audiences.
