Proteus Europe is searching for a Security Engineer for a 6 Month+ contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.Our Client :-
Our client is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face). Our clients customers are based in retail as well as private banking clients, as well as small, medium and large enterprises.
Your New role :-
- Provide enablers that are easy to find, easy to use, always reliable, secure and compliant.
- Focus on supporting other teams in the organization with the remediation of security issues and the implementation of security best practices.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- You have an up-to-date vision regarding IT Security expertise and you also have functional knowledge of some Banking Business domains.
- You are able to get all typical and other backlog items (user stories) from to do to done.
- You are (primarily responsible for) creating and implementing security solutions for applications, client/server platforms, networks and associated software environments.
- You define standards and ensure they are implemented (by your squads and others) so that IT risk is and remains under control
- You perform code reviews, developing automated tests;
- You contribute to site security management,
- You are responsible for (ethical) hacking and have more then 3 years hands-on experience
