My Client based near Cardiff are looking to hire a contract SC Cleared 3rd Level Desktop Engineer

I have attached the details below:

As a 3rd Level Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and solutions to customers and providing an interface to other technical stakeholders across all UK sites.

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.

Tasks

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

¤ Resolve incidents and process change requests raised in the Remedy ticketing system.

¤ To provide problem management and support to 1st and 2nd line teams. Identify RCA of complex issues.

¤ Maintain desktop client security with software applications such as Becrypt, Bromium, and McAfee EPO.

¤ Monitor and maintain software updates to ensure Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office and 3rd party applications are kept up to date.

¤ Maintain and create OS Deployment task sequences and Software Deployment packages.

¤ Report operational status of services to SDM.

¤ Create and Import packages for software deployment following defined process.

¤ Work with project teams to transition project work packages into production.

¤ Basic Exchange administration.

Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

¤ Proven experience as a 3rd line desktop Support Engineer.
¤ Windows 7/10 desktop environments
¤ Service Desk methodology ie ITIL,
¤ Scripting skills, specifically PowerShell, is an advantage.
¤ Proven experience of SCCM Current Branch (or at least SCCM 2012) administration, management and troubleshooting of Software Deployment, OS Deployment, and Software updates.
¤ Some knowledge of McAfee EPO, disk encryption, and Exchange 2010 is an advantage.
