Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading public sector clients.
Based in Cardiff Wales, the client are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager on an initial 6-8 week contract with the option to extend.
Responsibilities
*The Payroll Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the relationships with, and overseeing the accurate and timely transmission of payroll data, to the clients third party payroll provider.
*Service management reviews with our 3rd party payroll provider and other external stakeholders.
*Liaison with our 3rd party pensions administrator to ensure accurate and timely transfer of information and query resolution.
*Take forward complex casework with staff arising from payroll related issues.
Experience
*Experience of managing a medium size payroll.
*Experience of Itrent
*Knowledge of public sector payroll would be an advantage but not essential
*High level of skill in Excel (eg vlookups and pivot tables)
