Systems Engineer - Linux/Unix
Global client based in Dublin is seeking a systems engineer to work on a large scale and business critical project.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years relevant professional experience with the below ideally:
- RADIUS (FreeRADIUS) administration. This is KEY. Must be strong on Radius.
- UNIX/Linux engineering and administration
- ISP Core operations
- Experience and knowledge of the Ireland Telco market and products on both retail and wholesale.
- Experience and knowledge of regulated (ComReg) environment including Lawful Intercept and Data Intercept.
Overview of Technical Requirements:
- Operating Systems: Linux (Oracle Linux/RedHat, Fedora, Debian), HPUX, Solaris
- Web Servers (Apache),
- Email (exim, Sendmail, qmail, IMAP and POP3),
- DNS (bind),
- Monitoring (Nagios, Cacti, 95th Percentile Billing, HP Openview Operations/Operations Manager),
- Perl development
- Shell Scripting
- MySQL Admin + SQL.
- VMware
- Customer accessible graphs, customer Email alias Front End, customer email filtering Front End, CPE config backup and authentication, administration of web tools for support teams
