European eCommerce Manager

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for European eCommerce Manager to join their business in United Kingdom.

Position Title: European eCommerce Manager
Position Type: Contract, 1 year minimum

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the subsidiaries to achieve their agreed targets for direct sales
- Council the 17 Digital and eCommerce teams across Europe in ecommerce best practice
- In conjunction with the subsidiaries, drive a programme of CRO initiatives.
- Share learning and adoption across the business. Support the HQ & subsidiaries to implement eCommerce (where currently not available) and work closely with the technology partners to implement and enhance platforms to support eCommerce, including the rollout of Hybris 6.3, payment gateways, logistics integration and finance.
- Help develop propositions and manage the delivery of key programmes and activities initiated from across the business.
- Support the business in eCommerce expansion across B2B, covering EEP, SMB eshop and large business lead generation activities.
- To provide consultation and direction to the eCommerce and where relevant Digital teams in the European Subsidiaries.
- Review and align all EO direct eCommerce reporting and agree regular distribution channels. Needs to cover general trading, digital standard metrics (etc bounce, traffic, conv), campaigns where relevant. This reporting needs to be agreed as the baseline numbers with all European eCommerce managers.
- Own, manage and execute the onsite merchandising and conversion activities including but not limited to, product promotions, price promotions, special campaigns, etc.
- Assess and implement commercial/sales opportunities to maximise online revenue and profitability
- Deliver strategies to manage online margin through effective pricing and promotional activities.
- Motivate and manage resource to deliver maximum online sales and profitability.
- Manage senior stakeholders to authorise incremental marketing/campaign spend through clear ROI justifications. As Ecommerce Manager you will work alongside the marketing and CRM teams to ensure customer contact management is aligned under a single plan.
- Be ahead of the game in new and emerging technologies, and innovative ways of communicating with customers, and share with wider team through agency partners and across the wider marketing team.

Qualifications:
- A proven track record of planning and managing eCommerce (often through others, internally and externally) that deliver growth to a complex set of Consumer stakeholders.
- Proven record of using Data to provide compelling business insights in a Digital Environment.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task successfully and operate within budgetary and timeline constraints.
- Demonstrated business results from delivering on-time and managing to large marketing budgets.
- Experience in influencing a global organisation with local market structures managing individual P&L’s.
- Significant experience working in high performing eCommerce teams, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
- Significant experience of leading people to deliver eCommerce Programs through teams, working at a regional level and effectively communicating value propositions with global and local stakeholders.
