Description
DevOps Engineer - Canary Wharf - Contract - AWS
We need 3 strong DevOps Engineers who are keen to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, with excellent demonstrable AWS skills, familiar with AWS Services and Tools, plus products like Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Red Hat Linux, Python & Node.js.
Knowledge
Superb understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques
Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools
Security and Compliance, eg IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools
Skills
Bash
Terraform
Ansible
Packer
Jenkins (Groovy Scripting)
Powershell
Excellent skills in at least one of following: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala
Experienced in full automation and configuration management Desirable
Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
Experience
Proven AWS experience
Linux administration and Scripting preferably Red Hat
Experience working within an Agile environment
Experience operating in highly regulated industry, eg Financial Services
Certifications
Mandatory:
AWS Certifications - ideally professional
Nice to have:
Linux Certification
Windows Server Certification
