Description
We are urgently looking for a business Finance analyst with business case expertise, and preferably some experience for a public sector client.
The organisation has a number of business cases they need to validate savings elements for a new centralised service, thus they need a rigorous examination of the proposal in comparison to the existing service.
This will essentially involve:
Model the as is process against a standard template
Allocate the current costs against each area in a cost model
Agree the captured costs with the relevant organisation.
Validate the to be costs provided by the new supplier and agree with the organisations in question.
The successful candidate will work with each organisations' own finance team to help establish the current costs. This includes challenging the organisation to justify costs, assumptions, financial treatment or exemptions where decisions have been made.
We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who has sufficient experience and gravitas to be able to critique and challenge each organization right up to the top level of the organisation. The organisations are located around the country, so travel will be required for at least 1 day per organization. The rest of the work will be from London with a possibility to work remotely for some of the time.
The scope of work starts ASAP, and would continue though to April 2018 with a possibility for an extension after this.
The day rate to the successful candidate is £450-£600 per day subject to experience. Candidates must have recent and demonstrate experience around pulling together financial business cases and strong financial and business analysis skills, preferably within a former consulting context. Current NPPV or SC security clearance is essential. Candidates without such clearance will not be considered.
