Network Audit Consultant required to join technology focused managed services provider.
The client operates an MPLS based voice and data network supplied and managed by a third party.
The network provision includes both leased line and ADSL last mile provision, a widely implemented corporate Wi-Fi solution, cloud based VoIP and connectivity to Microsoft's Azure services. The network is primarily based on Cisco equipment with a limited implementation of Juniper and Barracuda Firewalls.
The network audit should be undertaken to assure the customer that the network is optimally configured both under standard conditions and under failure scenarios, including identification of any bottlenecks or other constraints within the implementation.
You will be required to carry out a detailed, low level review of the current network architecture considering capacity, performance and resilience of the network and to provide a management summary of the current condition of the network and a detailed set of proposed actions to address any areas of concern.
