IP Support EngineerOur client, a global leading IT outsourcing company is recruiting for an IP Support Engineer to join their business in France.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the project schedule for formal review and acceptance to the Customer.
- Use this final project schedule to assess progress, manage deliverables, milestones, and change management issues and to record the planned events of the project, showing resource, timescales and milestones
- Work with the final Client and Customers to identify and document dependencies, risks and issues associated with the successful completion of the project(s)
- Escalate any project-related issues requiring assistance to Client’s or Customer’s Project Manager
- Jointly develop milestones and delivery dates with Customer and the Client
- Provide a handover, follow-on actions, lessons learned, and exception reports (if any exceptions exist) upon Service completion
- Deliver weekly project status reports to Client and Client’s Customers and participate in regularly scheduled project review meetings or conference calls, if required by the Client and Client’s Customer
- Create and maintain project lifecycle operational documents, including: project plan, communications plan, action register, work breakdown structure (WBS), risk assessment and risk register
Qualifications:
- 8 years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment
- Expert level knowledge in TWO of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of; 7600, Core Routing (MPLS), GSR, QOS, IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), IP internetworking, LAN Switching, ATM & Voice technologies, Testing, IP Telephony, Wireless, DSL, Mobility, Network Management, WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN), Leading edge technology design skills
- CCIE written and lab as well as one Advanced Technology Specialisation
- Expert level knowledge in TWO of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking LAN Switching, ATM & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN). IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Knowledge of Advanced Services Program model deliverables and expectations
- Fluent English (French is Advantageous)
