Procurement Manager/Buyer - Professional Services

6 Month Contract - £350 p/d
Our client a Banking organisation is looking for a Procurement Manager/Senior Buyer with experience within the Professional Services Category to join the organisation.
The Procurement Manager will manage the consultancy desk, which will include management of a small team of two people. They will also be in charge of putting in place contractual documents and contributing to the Consultancy cost base. The procurement manager will oversee budget approvals and renewals of both IT/Non IT consultancy and professional services for the Bank.
Essential Candidate Requirements
- End to End Procurement experience within Professional Services
- Must have experience working in a Banking or Financial Services organisation
- People management experience (Direct reports or managing a small team)
- Experience negotiating of costs and exercising control over spend
- Experience negotiating contracts.
- Excellent Excel skills. ie Pivot Tables, Providing MI and Reporting
