Sybase DBA - 6 months rolling based in New York
Sybase DBA - my client is looking for a Sybase Dba for a 6 month rolling contract the ideal candidate should have experience in
Manage open system databases encompassing the areas of design, installation, data backup/recovery, data redundancy, security, performance/tuning, health/capacity monitoring, capacity planning and server/instance maintenance.
Develop automated processes (Real Time) in order to: manage/maintain database instances, monitor server health, gauge server performance/utilization and prepare for their recovery.
Create and verify virtual and physical models of data and databases. Store image of such models for recovery purposes.
