One of our clients in the financial services' industry located in the South of Brussels currently requires a senior Java developer specialised in Big Data with concrete experience in as many of following technologies as possible:

The requested skills are:
* PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES with level EXPERT
* Related design patterns with level EXPERT
* Java Dev Skills (up to Java 8) with level EXPERT
* Distributed App. Framework: with level SPECIALIST
* Apache Kafka, Zookeeper with level SPECIALIST
* Exposure to various OS platforms with level SPECIALIST
* Windows, Linux (Redhat) with level SPECIALIST
* Unit test & Integration testing with level SPECIALIST of applications with level SPECIALIST
* PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES with level SPECIALIST
Your future responsibilities:
* Participate in the implementation of software components covering development, unit testing and integration testing activities. Contribute to the development of highly scalable, resilient and secure software
* Maintain program libraries and their technical documentation.
* Discuss designs and possible solutions with team members.
* Evaluate and recommend technical feasibility and estimate's of the proposed solutions.
* Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by other team m embers. Help to define system specifications.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation. Prepare and give presentations for in ternal purposes. Where appropriate, write system documentation, operating procedures.
