Global Banking is responsible for the overall management of relationships with major corporate and institutional clients across a broad range of geographies. This involves working closely with a variety of product specialists to deliver a comprehensive range of services such as treasury and capital markets, transaction banking, strategic advisory and investment management and the origination and ongoing management of the credit and lending product.

We are currently seeking a Settlements Analyst with Loan IQ experience to provide Back Office support for the Loan Sales & Trading team within Credit Trading.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of syndicated loans, administering purchases, sales, payments, fees, interest, drawdowns and repayments.

In this role, you will:

  • Complete operational processing in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring time critical deadlines are achieved
  • Ensure all documentation satisfies procedural and audit requirements in respect of SLT processing
  • Assist loan closers with position queries and resolve in a timely manner
  • Develop a close liaison with the sales, trading and closing teams and agents to ensure the smooth processing of transactions

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Secondary Loans Trading experience is essential for this role, if you do not have this experience please do not apply
  • Detailed knowledge of Loan IQ is essential
  • Good excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
