Agile Coach (DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC, Jenkins)

An Agile/DevOps Coach is required by a leading financial services company to work across different tribes and scrums. You will help the product development teams to adopt best practices for developing, testing, deploying and releasing applications. This is part of a major Agile transformation programme to give the product development teams the maximum level of autonomy for developing, testing and deploying their applications. You must have end to end SDLC view and strong coaching skills to maximise the adoption of the defined practices and standards of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within a major Agile Transformation programme to help product development teams adopt best practices for developing, testing and deploying applications
  • Coaching Agile development teams, including implementation of BDD and API/Contract First testing
  • Cross check the requirements with the existing platform and evaluate if the platform/tooling can be extended, or whether new tooling must be added
  • Integrating the new tools and processes of the DevOps programme within the existing platform

Key Experience

  • Strong coaching experience in a large-scale financial services environment
  • Experience of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Expertise with DevOps, including CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Java/iOS/Android development platforms would also be beneficial
