Description

We are currently working with a Global provider of ICT solutions, who require the services of a Network Security Engineer to join the Team responsible for handling the LAN security and participate in the delivery of ongoing projects.

As a Network Security Engineer you will work alongside key technology staff to assist in the life-cycle of client services from design all the way through to deployment.

Your role will involve:

• Analysis and specification of operational requirements, processes and technical requirements
• Local Area Networks: Technical analysis and specifications, architecture, design, implementation and deployment of public or EU classified local area network infrastructures
• Remote access – administration and maintenance of LAN, implementation and administration of security defined for local area networks, impact assessment of changes of the network infrastructure
• Proofs of concept
• Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
• Definition of test strategies, test design and testing of computing systems and networks
• Performance management
• Change and Configuration management (e.g., assessment, scheduling, implementation, review)
• Capacity management
• Risk management
• Operational support (2nd tier)
• Installation and configuration of all relevant hardware and software
• Daily monitoring
• Incident and Problem Management (e.g. trouble ticketing, fault analysis, diagnosis, and resolution)
• Coordination with 3rd party maintenance contractors


In order to be a successful Network Security Engineer you will demonstrate:

Protocols:
TCP/IP Suite (SNMP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, …)
