Regulatory Business Analyst - EMIR

Field of activity

REGIS-TR, the European central trade repository, was launched in 2010 as a joint venture between Clearstream, the International Central Securities Depository (ICSD) and Iberclear, the Spanish Central Securities Depository (CSD). It collects and administers details of derivative transactions reported by its clients to provide market regulators and participants with a reporting hub for all manner of transaction reporting resulting from current and future regulatory initiatives such as EMIR, FinfraG, SFTR etc
Tasks/responsibilities
§ Perform regulatory analysis, specifically for EMIR regulations
§ Transpose EMIR regulations into business requirement documents with full traceability between the specific legal points and hard requirements for development and soft requirements for procedure/process changes
§ Map all requirements from the regulations through to the Business Requirements through to the Functional Specifications through to IT specifications
§ Develop test plans and test cases/success criteria
§ Test, validate, and document the system v-a-v the business and functional requirements
§ Identify areas for system improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications/required skills
§ University degree in law, economics and/or a comparable education
§ Good understanding of regulatory environment, and in particular, the trade repository business
§ Good experience in business analysis, regulatory analysis and/or producing BRAs
§ Strong functional testing capabilities and
§ Excellent communication skills, customer and service orientation
§ Minimum 4-5 years experience in the regulatory space with business requirements writing skills
§ Language: English; Knowledge of an additional language would be seen as an additional asset
Additionally, you need to be a team player with a good command of MS Office applications

§ Start date of assignment: ASAP
§ Initial contract duration: 6 months (potential extension on quarterly basis)
§ Degree of employment: Full-time
§ Location: Luxemburg, occasional travel maybe required
