Financial Analyst (Cross cutting)

Role

I am looking for a consultant who specialises in analysing financial data and performing financial modelling.

Development of business cases to support funding of pathfinders/pilots/wider rollout.

THE ROLE:

These business cases will need to identify and report on both tangible and non-tangible benefits based around the implementation of new technology within the workplace. Specific activities include:

  • Develop business cases (no more than 10 pages each) to support funding processes
  • Engage with stakeholders and core project team to inform approach and establish baseline template for future use
  • Liaise with SL Finance to ensure appropriate accounting treatment
  • Incorporate feedback from showcase demos into business cases
  • Review and validation of business cases with stakeholders including SL Finance team

The successful candidate will need to be SC Cleared.

Start date: ASAP

Skills

Experience in developing business cases, preferably for the public sector.
Stakeholder management
Driving licence preferable (hire car provided where necessary).
SC cleared or have started the process (DVS/MOD, Home Office or NDA).

Location

Ability to work flexibly and travel (likely away at least 3 nights per week).
Based in client offices in Cumbria

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with SC clearance. As such, I will not be looking at CVs without a background in the public sector.
