Finance Manager - Contract - London
Finance Manager to work in a privately-owned medium-sized UK organisation delivering Digital Transformation services to UK Government, to identify budgets and possible candidates to deliver against the accountabilities.
Finance Manager will have the below responsibilities:
Cash and Debt Resource Management
Manage the company's cash and debt resources, ensuring that due customer payments are collected promptly, that creditors are paid in accordance with the company's policies.
Ensure that the company's present and future cash position and requirements are always known and communicated to the directors.
Ensure that the company's financial and control systems are robust, compliant and support current operations and future growth.
Process monthly supplier and client invoices, including BACS payment processing.
Book Keeping and Budget Management
Maintain simple book keeping using the company's cloud based system (Xero.com), ensuring accounts payable and receivable are reconciled and cash flow maintained.
Ensure that budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
Deliver a complete and accurate set of management accounts to the directors by the 15th of each calendar month.
Compliance Management
Ensure that all statutory, regulatory and credit rating filings, taxes and VAT payments are made accurately and on time.
Ensure that any disputes or litigation are resolved promptly and effectively.
Team Management
Ensuring that any subordinate team members operate within the professional standards required to enable these accountabilities to be delivered effectively.
