An international banking client of mine are looking for a data analyst to join an exciting project in the heart of Amsterdam. You will provide for the needs of the business with regard to data related FATCA questions. You support the business by consulting the database and building reports. You also ensure that data about FATCA is up to date by periodically collecting data from different systems. Based on this data, you make adjustments where it is needed.
The specific work
Collect and organize relevant data
Checking data for correctness, both in the area of data quality issues and in the area of FATCA policy
Develop data models
Perform corrections in Oracle database
Building dashboards and frameworks in Cognos
Drafting of reports, with or without recommendations
Generate monthly work lists
Deliver input monthly uploads
Create and improve monthly dashboard
Perform data analysis to support actions
Experience with
PL/SQL (Oracal) (Sequences, Procedures and SQL)
SQL Developer
MS Access (to simplify work)
MS Excel (Pivots)
MS Visio
MS SharePoint (SharePoint lists)
Cognos Reporting Studio
Cognos Framework Manager
Build up DWH
