Location: Henderson Row, Edinburgh
We currently have a number of temporary roles with an imminent start working on behalf of the largest mutual life, pensions and investment company in the UK.
Based in central Edinburgh these are full times roles, Monday to Friday, and are expected to last for approximately 2 to 3 months initially, potentially longer.
Full Training will be provided but we are looking for people with a background in customer service with strong telephone and IT skills and a desire to learn. Financial Services experience is really beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking telephone customer service duties for the servicing of either pensions or life insurance products.
- Being accountable for the resolution of all enquiries, escalating as required.
- Working as part of a team to ensure that every customer (Employer's, Financial Advisers and Members) receive an exceptionally high level of service.
- Accurately maintain and update Client files and policy information as appropriate
- Take full responsibility for the work that you are involved in, generating good discussions with your peer group and Team Manager as needed.
- Providing a quality service through pro-active contact and effective communication.
Required knowledge, skills and experience:
- Excellent customer service skills ideally gained within a similar role.
- Financial Services/Pensions knowledge is an advantage (though not essential)
- Relationship Management skills desirable
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- A polite and professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Basic office skills (preferably gained in an office environment)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
