Product Manager
I'm looking for someone to join my client for 3-6 months, to be the product owner for a newly created (from staff who are already here) agile scrum team focused on a key project for one of my clients brands: migrating the site's editorial content, identity service and forums over to our new in-house, WordPress-based platform.
This involves working with the existing product scrum teams to plan out the creation of a Wordpress instance, a content and feature audit, and a content migration. The wider team has done this for multiple sites, so this is a collaborative effort rather than a standalone project. We need someone familiar with agile practice, willing to get stuck into the detail of the migration and keep the team engaged and focused on the project. Ideally it'd be someone who has taken on this kind of project before, and a knowledge of WordPress is a nice to have. They need to be a very good communicator.
Duties include: JIRA ticket creation, agile ceremonies, workload prioritisation and sprint planning, content audit, comms with team members, the wider team and stakeholders, mastering some of the technical complexity of migrating from the existing system to our identity service and working with a third party to establish and migrate a forum.
