Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Edinburgh.
The role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Finance professional to support the implementation of a key accounting change across the Finance and Risk teams.
The programme is designed to manage the implementation of the new IFRS accounting standards. To do this successfully the project team is recruiting a Finance SME to support the successful implementation of the IT solution and drive forward the transition of IFRS 9 activities to the BAU teams.
Essential experience:
* Financial services background strongly preferred
* Project change experience
* Reporting and control experience
* Forward thinking and able to hit the ground running
* Previous experience of transitioning from one stage of a project to the next
